Kay Spiritual Life Center 4400 Massachusetts Ave, NW Washington, District of Columbia 20016 United States 202-885-3333CASJ is a resource center for activism at AU. CASJ helps progressive clubs combine resources to pursue a campus agenda for change. Our office in the Kay basement has existed since the '60s when it was established to resist the Vietnam War.
We put on events that are of interest to the general progressive community like Town Hall meetings, Radical Black History Month, and panels on the Iraq War.
We coordinate between our member clubs, which are: AU ACLU, Amnesty International, AU Animal Rights Effort (AUARE), Darfur Action, Democracy for DC, Dinosaurs Against Fossil Fuels, Eco-Sense, Fair Trade Student Association, Food Not Bombs, Movement for Global Justice, National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, AU Solidarity, Student Campaign for Burma, and Students for Justice in Palestine.
