Description
Focus the Nation is a national educational initiative to inform and mobilize American students and teachers around the theme “Stabilizing the Climate in the 21st Century” over the next 18 months, culminating in symposia to be held simultaneously on university and high school campuses nation-wide on January 31, 2008. The effort begins with a series of campus organizing workshops, including this one, at Columbia University. Join Focus the Nation Project Director Eban Goodstein to learn about the project and how you can participate in bringing the critical issue of climate change to the forefront of our national dialogue. Educators and students from all University and High School campuses in New York City, as well as concerned citizens, are invited to attend.
