Please join together in support of Sterling Laundry workers currently trying to form a union with UNITE for a happy hour fundraiser on March 3 at Cafe Citron

The event will have incredible musical guests including Joe Uehlein and his band, slam poets, amazing speakers, spoken word and free salsa classes at Cafe Citron on March 3rd. At the event, we suggest a minimum donation of $8 ($4 dollars for students - no one will be turned away). Best of all $1.00 from every union drink you buy supports the campaigns all night!

Location: Cafe Citron
1343 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20005. Wednesday, March 3, starting at 6:00pm. Phone: 202-321-2025

Workers at Sterling laundry are on an unfair labor practice strike trying to form a union with UNITE to fight poverty wages, unaffordable health insurance, and serious health and safety violations at work. It is imperative we give these workers the resources they need so that they may continue to fight to improve their own lives.

You will join the host committee: Jos Williams, Roger Newell, Mario Rodriguez, Roxie Herbekian, and the workers from Sterling Laundry.
