Notes
MTV has censored a serious statement on the deadly war in Iraq. Nine Inch Nails is banned from performing at the MTV Movie Awards June 4th, 2005 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

According to news reports, NIN wanted to display a picture of President Bush during the anti-war song "The Hand That Feeds." It features lyrics like "What if this whole crusade's a charade / And behind it all there's a price to be paid / For the blood on which we dine / Justified in the name of the holy and the divine."

MTV says their ban is politically-motivated. While corporations cannot not technically violate the First Amendment, MTV and its parent company Viacom have ties to the U.S. government through tax breaks and regulations which makes this a serious and actionable issue. We can make a difference.

PROTEST THE AWARDS SHOW THIS JUNE 4TH FROM 5-8PM

ALSO, TURN OFF MTV AND TELL THE MEDIA "I DO NOT WANT MY MTV"
