Plant Peace — Resist War Taxes!
November 4- 6, 2011 • Kansas City, KS
Pay for war? Modernize nuclear weapons? Not with my taxes! That's the rallying cry of war tax resisters. The weekend will explore legal options for war tax resistance as well as civil resistance to war taxes with presentations by local activists and resisters from around the country. In addition to the conference, participants will publicly oppose the new nuclear weapons parts plant being built in Kansas City. We will demonstrate at a site where thousands of area residents gather, and we will ask them to vote on November 8 for green-energy jobs instead of nuclear-parts production at the new plant.
Come for the whole weekend or one session.
