Call for Papers: The University of Connecticut Conference on Palestinian Liberation in the New Middle East

The University of Connecticut chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine invites paper proposals from graduate students and advanced undergraduates in all disciplines on topics related to Palestine in the contemporary Middle East.

The focus of this conference is “Palestinian Liberation in the New Middle East.”

The conference will be organized into presentations and panel discussions on topics of interest in Palestine studies, including but not limited to, the consequences of the Arab Spring for Palestine, Palestinian political economy, and the one or two state solution.

The deadline for paper proposals is September 1, 2013. Early submissions are encouraged. To submit your proposal, send your paper title, a 200-word abstract, along with your name, institution, and program of study to uconnsjp@gmail.com. Limited travel assistance for accepted presenters is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
