USSA is the recognized voice of students on Capitol Hill, in the Department of Education and in the White House. USSA focuses on issues that affect access to higher education.
USSA trains and organizes students to win concrete victories on their campuses around issues like stopping tuition hikes, expanding recruitment and retention programs and improving campus safety. By mobilizing and uniting a powerful grassroots force of students all over the country, we build our power, win concrete victories and prove that student apathy is a myth. Educated, organized and united, USSA leads the fight to make education a right, not a privilege.
