Anti-war activist. I am trying to start a local chapter of Deir Yassin Remembered in the Houston, TX area. On April 9, 1948, two Jewish para-military groups, the Stern and Urgan gangs, entered the peaceful Palestinian village of Deir Yassin and massacred its inhabitants. I want to invite everyone to join with me in commemorating those who were killed on that fateful day in order that hopefully someday a just and lasting peace will come to that region.
